1920 -

1926 Maruichi Production founded as a bicycle parts production company.

1930 -

1935 Started producing bicycle steel pipes.

1940 -

1940 Company name changed to Maruichi Steel Tube Works and separated from its bicycle parts division.
1947 Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. established.

1950 -

1956 Osaka Office rearranged and Maruichi Kohan Ltd. founded.
1957 Osaka Plant opened.
1958 Tokyo Office opened.
Electric tube welding system imported from Abby Etona Co. of US. Changed from welding system to seem-welding system.

1960-

1960 Changed trade name to Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd.
Nagoya Office opened.
1961 Tokyo Plant opened.
1962 Company listed 2nd board in the Tokyo and Osaka Stock Exchange.
1964 Company listed 1st board in the Tokyo and Osaka Stock Exchange.
Fukuoka Office opened.
1965 Sakai Plant opened.
1966 Hiroshima Office opened.
Nagoya Plant opened (merged into present Nagoya Plant in 1984).

1974 Shikoku Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. founded.
Kyushu Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. founded.
1977 Nagoya Second Plant (present Nagoya Plant) opened.
1978 Head office relocated to Kitahorie, Nishi-ku, Osaka.
Maruichi American Corporation (MAC) established.

1989 Takuma Plant opened.

1990 -

1995 Kashima Pole Plant opened.
Tokyo No.2 Plant renewal completed.
1998 Sapporo Plant united into Tomakomai Plant under Hokkaido Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd.

2000 -

2000 Hiroshima Office and warehouse opened.
2001 Annealing facilities built in Takuma Plant.
2002 Tokyo No.2 Plant's new warehouse constructed. Hamamatsu's new warehouse completed.
2003 New warehouse and cutting factory opened in Nagoya Plant
2004 Kyushu Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. renewal completed.
2005 New factory opened in Tomakomai Plant of Hokkaido Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd.
2006 New warehouse opened in Nagoya Plant.
Maruichi Metal Product(Foshan)Co.,Ltd.(MMP) founded.
Sun Steel Corporation joins Maruichi Steel tube Group.
2007 New warehouse building opened in Okayama warehouse.
New plant built in Sakai plant.
SEIKEI STEEL TUBE CORPORATION joins Maruichi Steel Tube Group.
2008 Leavitt Tube Company, LLC (LTC) joins,and it has become one of subsidiary companies of Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd.
Sun Steel Joint Stock Company(Sunsco) has become one of subsidiary companies of Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd.
Sakai Plant renewal completed.
2009 MARUICHI KUMA STEEL TUBE PRIVATE LIMITED (KUMA) has become one of subsidiary companies of Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd.
Sakai Production Facility of Seikei Steel Pipe Corporation founded opened.
Additional acquisition of stocks in Alpha Metal Co., Ltd.

2010 -

2010 16"mill built in SUNSCO.
Sun Steel (Hanoi) Co., Ltd. founded.
J-Spiral Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. joins Maruichi Steel Tube Group.
2011 Maruichi Metal Product (China, Tianjin) founded opened.
Mechanical structure steel tube mill at Tokyo No.2 Plant founded opened.
No.2 factory mill at Sakai Pole Plant founded opened.
2012 Maruichi Metal Product( China, Tianjin) founded opened.
No.2 and No.3 factory mill at Tokyo No.2 Plant founded opened.
Maruichimex (Mexico) Co.,Ltd. founded.
2013 Megasolar Power Plant has started operation in the Takuma Plant.
Started operation of the second CGL/CCL of SUNSCO.
2014 Conpleted consolidation of Tokyo Plant.
Converted Maruichimex into a consolidated subsidiary.
2015 Converted MOST into a consolidated subsidiary.
Newly constreucted Bangalore Plant of KUMA
2016 Conpleted consolidation of Osaka Plant.
2018 Head Office of Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. and Maruichi Kohan Ltd. relocated to the present address, Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka. Those sales offices in Osaka including the conduit section were consolidated into the same office.
